Roberto Tubaldi is an Assistant Professor of Finance at BI Norwegian Business School, where he has been a faculty member since 2021. His research interests lie in corporate finance with a focus on production networks, real effects of finance and the role of information in financial markets. Roberto's recent work explores the ripple effects of supply chain disruptions on industrial organization and competitiveness. He also examined how idiosyncratic shocks to stock prices—such as those caused by natural disasters—impact corporate financial decisions. Roberto’s research additionally investigates the strategic behavior of asset managers and its effect on price informativeness

Roberto earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the Swiss Finance Institute and USI Lugano, and he was a visiting doctoral fellow at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
